27 Oct WWSET SEN tournament
WWSET recently held a girls-only tournament at Wycombe Leisure Centre for special educational needs schools from across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire
The tournament, which was run in partnership with the Berks & Bucks FA and was one of the first of its kind in the area, saw a total of 21 girls with different physical and learning needs taking part. Each team played each other twice before scores were tallied and points accumulated, revealing that Addington School from Reading were the winners.
Judging by the smiles on the faces of all the girl’s everybody seemed to have a great time
and the PE teacher of Addington said:
“The tournament was really well organised and there was a lovely rapport from the WWFC staff. The girls were thrilled to pick up a trophy at the end and we’d love to attend the next tournament you run.”
