01 Aug WWSET newest member of our team
WWSET would today like to introduce the newest member of our team, Lewis Bloom.
Lewis has become a full time member of WWSET staff in the role of Elite & Development Academy (“EDA”) Officer and will primarily be involved with coaching at the academy plus increasing our football offering to females in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas.
Lewis began coaching with WWSET at the EDA in June 2015 working with the u8’s throughout the season.
Due to his dedication to the role, fantastic coaching skills, his excellent rapport with parents, and the positive relationships he has built with the children he coaches, when a full time position became available Lewis was the outstanding candidate.
Lewis is currently an FA Level 2 qualified coach and will be continuing his personal development by undertaking the FA Youth Module 3 in October 2016 as well as undertaking the UEFA B Coaching licence early in 2017.
In addition to his previous role with WWSET Lewis has gained experience in roles with Reading FC Academy plus coaching at Chichester University.
Here’s what Lewis had to say about his now job:
“I’m very excited to be given a fantastic opportunity to develop myself as a coach plus get the opportunity to increase the number of local women and girls playing football. In addition I’m also excited about getting involved with all the other good work that WWSET do within the community in the areas of sports participation, health, education and social inclusion.”
Head of the WWSET EDA Kirk Williams added:
“Lewis is a great young coach and has all the attributes to be very successful in his new role. I’m looking forward to watching Lewis develop both himself and WWSET and I’m sure that he will prove to be a valuable asset to an ever growing team.”
Everybody from WWSET wishes Lewis all the best over the coming months and years!
