WWSET Ramadaan Tournament

Celebrating the coming of Ramadaan

After the success of last year’s inaugural WWSET Ramadaan Tournament we are happy to announce details of the upcoming WWSET Ramadaan Tournament 2019.

WWSET will be again hosting the Ramadaan Tournament under the floodlights of Adams Park Stadium, on the famous turf, which is home of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.

The Ramadaan Tournament is something that WWSET felt was an excellent way to engage the local Muslim Community and to play our part in bringing local mosques from the Berks & Bucks area together, using football as a tool. WWSET felt there was a need and a demand  for the Tournament and this was something that became very apparent due to the interest in the tournament and feedback received from participants over the years. As a Trust and fulfilling that demand of our local community, WWSET set about providing for that demand by initiating The Ramadaan Tournament event.

Ramadaan is very important and holy month for the Muslim Community and is a time for sharing, patience, giving, self-reflection, forgiveness, worshipping, praying, and coming together and to help with the coming together, WWSET wanted to provide an opportunity to the local Muslim Community, through football, to celebrate this auspicious month to come together under the floodlights of Adams Park Stadium, during the night when they have opened their fast and play the beautiful game.

The Tournament will be taking place on Saturday 18th May 2019.
