22 Dec Flegg Projects Donation helps to fund FFIT Programme
We have been very fortunate to have received a Donation from Flegg Projects, who are committed to supporting a local charity each year.
In 2015 they supported an Epilepsy charity in memory of Ben Flegg who died far too early in his life. Ben was the brother of Jayson & Kiersty who remain in the business today.
Last year they supported a local MS society. This was in recognition of one of their current employees, Kate Lingwood who has been battling the illness for a few years.
This year they have decided to support us here at Wycombe Wanderers Sports and Education Trust (WWSET) after their Commercial Director, Mark Marshall recently completed the FFIT course and was delighted with the results.
“I found myself in a bit of a rut, making the wrong choices with diet and missing regular exercise so decided to give it a go”. Over the 12-weeks Mark went onto to achieve a weight loss of over 10kgs giving him the un-enviable title BIGGEST LOSER! “I am really pleased with the results and to meet some great people along the way. I would recommend the course to anyone that fits the criteria and to get in touch with Sam Parker at WWSET ahead of the next course which starts in January”.
Comment from Sam “We are so honoured that Flegg Projects wanted to support us this year, and will use the donation to continue to support our “FFIT legends” by putting on a regular activity session to help all of our graduates keep active and continue to live healthier lives.”
