WWSET Supports Mental Health Day

11 Oct WWSET Supports Mental Health Day

At Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust we helped raise awareness for Mental Health Day on the 10th October 2021. During this day our staff told us what they do to keep Mentally Healthy.

Mental Health Day is a day to reflect on what you could do to help reduce anxiety and stress within our everyday lives. According to the Mental Health Foundation statistics show that 1 in every 6 people will experience a common mental health issues, such as anxiety or depression.

These statistics highlights the importance of this, as Mental Health Day predominantly aims to get people to talk to others in help to support them with any mental issues. With the aim is to keep the conversation going to raise the profile of this day.

World Mental Health day also gifts the opportunity to learn, but to also see how we can assist others in helping them with their mental health.
