Dr Gina Allan worked as a GP in Buckinghamshire for over 20 years. During these years, she was committed to the NHS and developed a specialist interest in health promotion and disease prevention for all.
In 1993, on WWFC’s elevation to the Football League, Gina was appointed as Club Doctor, a post she held until 2016. She considered working for WWFC to be a privilege. The role developed not only her interest in sports medicine but also an understanding of the workings of a professional football club. She was Honorary Medical Officer for The National League until 2017. Gina remains an enthusiastic supporter of WWFC and still attends as many matches as possible, both home and away.
Gina is delighted to be a trustee of WWSET as she feels the organisation embraces her interests of inclusion, healthy lifestyles, improving physical and mental health and football
