WWSET attend the Leap MK PE Conference

Leap Conference

18 Oct WWSET attend the Leap MK PE Conference

Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust (WWSET) would like to say a huge thank you to Mark Stokes and his team at LEAP for their fantastic work in putting together the Bucks and MK PE Conference last week. A fantastic event that enabled dialogue around high quality Physical Education in local schools and demonstrated some excellent practice around differentiation and physical literacy in PE.
WWSET Head of Education, Mark Guildea, who was in attendance, was even given the privilege of meeting two outstanding students and performers representing both Buckinghamshire and Great Britain in the form of Olympic medal winning twins Jessica and Jennifer Gadirova who discussed their experiences in the Tokyo Olympics and even took the time to thank their PE teachers who were also in attendance.
Ali Oliver, CEO of the Youth Sports Trust provided a poignant keynote that centered around reflecting, rebuilding and refreshing of PE and Youth Sport in schools. This is reflective of WWSET’s commitment to providing the highest quality of Physical Education in Buckinghamshire to enable young people to become physically literate and excel across a broad range of activities.
We have recently reflected and rebuilt our Physical Education offering to schools and can provide both curriculum Physical Education and Teacher CPD. Furthermore, we are expanding our offering of the Premier League Primary Stars programme – so for information about our offering in schools contact Mark Guildea – on Mark.Guildea@WWFC.com.
