During the 2016/17 season, WWSET is one of almost 90 professional football clubs delivering the Premier League Girls Football programme.
The programme, which is also delivered in partnership with The Football Association (“The FA”), aims to provide more opportunities for females aged 11+ to participate in football, and more specifically has two primary objectives:
As part of our Premier League Girls Football Programme WWSET are going to be delivering a varied array of FREE sessions that will look to engage with:
All of the above activity seeks to break down traditional participation barriers and all sessions are centered around providing a fun, safe and relaxed environment for all participants involved.
Furthermore, many of the sessions will be delivered using football in a non-traditional format, with sessions such as “walking football, “soccer circuits”, “futsal” and “football rounder’s” all being offered.
All delivery is led by WWSET’s fully qualified professional Female Football Officer Tammy John, so whatever your motivation for getting involved, (make new friends, health & fitness, love of the game etc) there are opportunities for you!
