MASCOT TESTIMONIALS

‘Just a note to say what a fantastic community club we think Wycombe is. I took my son to his first away game and he thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience (apart from the result). He is 5 and I was a bit anxious about traveling, and after reading there is not much to do around the ground, I was wondering what could we do? We first went into the club shop and were met with the friendliest staff ever. After telling them Jacob likes ‘the beast’ , one of the team called Andy then proceeded to give Jacob a program and said he would get ‘Mr beast’ to sign it for him, then send it back in the post to us. Wow thanks! We then went into a field next to the stadium and played football for an hour, which Jacob loved, then went into the ground, which was exceptionally nice. The amenities were great, food good and once again, nice staff. Jacob will always now have an affiliation with Wycombe, and hopefully, we will be back again next year, with both of us in league one. It was also Jacobs nanas 69th birthday treat, and has been to most football grounds, and she was also suitable impressed’.

Thanks for a great day, the Lee family(Portsmouth supporters)

‘Can I just say what a wonderful day Olé had on Saturday he is still talking about it today. From the moment he arrived at Adams Park he was welcomed and felt at ease with the staff. He couldn’t have asked for a better day out’.

‘Harry, the boys and I wanted to thank you and the mascot team so very much for the boys’ experience at the end of February. They had the most incredible time and literally enjoyed every minute. Ned started the tour by whispering to me that it was his proudest day ever and as we left the stadium they both said that it was one of the best days of their lives.

Everyone we met was very welcoming and the players were so kind to the boys in signing their books and letting them take photographs in the dressing room ahead of an important match’.

‘Holly and I just wanted to thank you and all involved with Lewis’s mascot day last Friday for the Mansfield game. We all had a great day (despite the result) and we both thought that the two ladies who looked after all the mascots and took us on the tour were fantastic. I have to give them special thanks for the way they treated my three year old son William who was with us on the day for making him feel included as well, which they didn’t have to do but was very much appreciated. I’ve been waiting to take him to his first Wycombe game since he was born so the effort they put in and the photo’s that we got of Lewis and William together have made it extra special.

All in all everyone involved on the day is a credit to the club’.
